Summer 2012... A dull prospect to even the most hardy of wave wranglers. The lack of wave potential, shocking winds and dismal reports leaves most of us in need of a release of some description. Some get this fix from work, the privileged depart to Hawaii while most of us bask in the ambience that mother nature so kindly provides.
Enter - George Humphries, Lewy Finnegan & Luke Waylan.
These three guys prove to be on a separate level to the rest of us entirely. George and Lewy's desire to push each other to the next level has resulted in a thirst for waves that has so far made Summer 2012 something special. With Waylo behind the lens, documenting everything from the biggest flip to the smallest roll, these three make a formidable team.
Standing back from an outsiders perspective this week looking in watching the fellas do there thing I have been blown away! I truly have had time to marvel at the situation Waylo and I now find ourselves in. I am astounded to think that only months ago the decision was made to begin shooting for this project. Yet already we find ourselves with more incredible footage from Waylo of these two than Ive seen anywhere on the internet from groms of this age.
Scrambling threw the hard drive to leave you peeps with something worthy, I've come across two of my absolute favourites. Just a little tastebud wetter. Stay tuned for more soon.
